We all *know" we 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁... So why is it so hard sometimes?

For me, I've found it easier to make time for rest when I'm tuned in to 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.

The constant stress of daily living leaves you with heightened anxiety, which weakens your immune system. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀.

Rest can mean different things. It can mean the obvious, like taking a nap. 𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗷𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

One way I've discovered to support my need for rest is yoga breathing. Taking just a few minutes out of my day to 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 works wonders. Not only is it relaxing to do, it also sets me up for 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 later.

I currently have two slots open for a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 if you'd like to check out how yoga breathing might help you with stress, anxiety, or sleep.
