We all have an inner dialog inside. Have you noticed that it's often quite negative? Some call this your inner critic, but 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲.

There's a very real reason why this is so - 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀 and stop us from trying things that may be risky. That served us well in the past when wondering whether trying to jump off that cliff would be a good idea.

But now, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. To our brains, that kind of risk 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝘆 and impossible as jumping off that cliff once did.
